Think I should get a new obgyn? (long)
So I took a HPT on 8/11 and it came up positive. I called the dr's office to see what to do. The first responce was to wait until 3 or 4 weeks after missed period to make an appoinment. I get a call from my dr. to get blood work about finding fluid in my uterus. (my last period was about 2 weeks long). I told the dr. that i took a HPT and it was positive. She wasn't concerned that there would be a problem so. For the past week I have been feeling crampy and brown spotting. Fast forward to today. I wipe and there is spot of red blood. I call the dr. and they tell me to come in get a sonogram done. So I go in and get it done and they don't see anything yet. The dr. told me that I may have ovulated late and that I could still be pregnant or I may not be. She gives me a script to go get bloodwork done to test my beta's. The dr. was like "if I had known that you were pregnant I would have written u a script to get it done this morning when you went for your other blood work" I told a week ago on the phone that I took a test and it was a BFP!
I am trying not to freak my self out or get stressed. But why didn't she just listen to me? Should I find a new doc?

I would. Just the face that you are asking seems to me like you want to. I would want to after that mess they made. Good luck!

Take it from someone who second guessed herself and regrets it. If you feel like maybe you should then chances are your gut is right. I switched for this pregnancy after initially starting out with my original ob/gyn but shortly after switched b/c I knew it was the right thing to do.
I switched and couldn't be happier!
Good luck with your decision.

Only you would know. You have to feel comfortable with your doctor. You will be seeing them every month and more once you progress through your pregnancy.
As for not seeing anything on the sono yet, I really think it could be early.

ITA!
I think its easier to switch OBs while its early, and always get copies of all your labs!

remember though that if you called the office and didn't speak to the dr..they are the gatekeepers..if they didn't tell her directly than maybe she didnt know?
but if you did speak to her directly than thats different and i would consider finding someone else.
