thinking ahead what would an RE's
office do if your O date landed on Thanksgiving if you plan to do IUI? I have a meeting set-up for next steps - beginning of Nov and IUI would be the next step but O right now calculates to be Thanksgiving

I know my dr was open on Easter. I don't think they have much of a choice, right? They can't expect people to miss a month bc of the holiday.

I think I must have hit on every holiday with my IUI's. They have to be open to accommodate your schedule. Though I would double check. Sometime they will only be open for IUI's and IVF's but closed for CD2/3 monitoring/ b/w, since it can be moved a day without neg. affect.

It's only for a few hours in the morning so i would think they are open every day (no matter what the day) for ivf & iui's, i agree i'm sure monitoring is pushed to the next day. But i have seen posts where Re's were closed on weekends which is very odd.

My RE's office is open 7 days a week 365 days a year. I think most RE offices are the same.

Mine says that they will do it the day before or the day after. There is a whole section in the paperwork about holidays and how to handle it. It's only 4 holidays a year, not all of them.
But I live in CT, so obviously it could be a different story.
