Re: This house is right by our new home

I was always wary of listings with no descriptions or inside pictures...must be something up...

Looks like it has a driveway...
And those things don't always break deals...

those taxes are pretty normal for Farmingdale.

the interior might be a disaster - thats a great price for the neighborhood.

eta: the RE agent is Proof Realty Corp in Brooklyn - never heard of them. they probably don't advertise the house much.

My house didn't have pictures in the MLS listing either...I guess that worked out well for me.

I agree about the taxes and the inside. Maybe it is bad.

Maybe it's too close to the HS! :)

Re: This house is right by our new home

dumb question, are you on the border of amityville? i looked it up on the realtors MLS and the SD is blank on the listing...they usually do that if the SD is not too popular.

Thats definitely farmingdale SD. its kinda close to amityville, but not that close. closer to massapequa than to amityville.

hmmm...well then my only assumption would be to agree that its the realtor. they probably arent marketing the house properly. shame on them!

i think its definitely poor marketing - i live in the neighborhood - its a dead end street so i dont drive down it - but at that price it should be selling - the R/E agent i never heard of and its in brooklyn....hmm...

Yeah, it's in South Farmingdale...right on the border of North Massapequa.
