This is just horrible - on tape teens taped beating up girl
A group of teenagers, most of them girls, is under arrest after deputies say they found a videotape showing the teens beating one of their girlfriends. Investigators say the girls lured the victim over with the intention of taping the beating and posting it online.
I can't get the video to post but here is a link to the news website. It's horrible. The girl they beat up has a concussion and the parents are going to do home schooling for her because she is petrified to return to school. The girl was knocked out unconscience, they woke her up and then knocked her out again.

And its even scarier that they were taping the entire event to post on Youtube afterwards.

Their were 2 boys that were outside as the "look out's" and they claim they were innocent. They had nothing to do with the beatings.
The video is just horrible. That poor girl that was beat up

That is what I was saying. She didnt even attempt to defend herself. It looked like she was cornered though. She was getting hit pretty bad so maybe her concern was just trying to not get hurt. It's just horrible that girl was getting beat up like that.

I heard about this this morning. They mentioned the girl has permanent
hearing loss and a problem with her eye.
I can't believe how common this is becomming.
These girls need to get a hold of the 2 idiots who stole the girl scout cookie money from that little girl in FL.

that was absolutely disturbing and disgusting!!!!
things have definitely changed since i was in high school! i couldnt imagine any girls in my hs EVER being that violent! that was just disgusting!
why didnt she punch back though?

This happened to DH's cousin a few months ago last summer. She was lured to a school yard, was beaten up & the girls put it on YouTube. DH's aunt & uncle were both on the Today show too to discuss it.

I think I also heard this morning that there were a total of 6 girls in that room that is why she did not defend herself.

I feel this away almost everytime I watch the news.
It's scary what's out there these days
ETS: Like those 2 girls on the news who stole the girl scout cookie money from the little girl. They saw nothing wrong with what they did and were upset only because they got caught. No respect for anyone else.
It's sad really.

No it's not just you. After these girls were arrested, they made comments like "I guess we won't be going to the beach tomorrow" or "Will I be out by tomorrow for my cheerleading practice"

Most annoying on the Today show was the mother of the girl who supposedly lured her ... she claimed her daughter warned the girl if she went in she'd be getting beat up by the others. 
And when Matt Lauer kept putting her on the spot with questions she was like "my daughter isn't even a cheerleader!"
The beating took place in her mother's house for crying out loud!!! (grandmother of the girl)
Anyway, just pure insanity and a sad commentary on today's kids.

The girl who got beat up they interviewed her mother and she was so distraught. She was crying and said she worries about her daugther.
I too agree, I hope they get tried as adults
