This may sound silly but I have to ask.....
I am 19 1/2 weeks I can "feel" the baby and what I mean is not flutters or kicks I mean that it feels literally like there is a softball in my pelvis / uterus
My sister said she never felt this - I guess what I am feeling is pressure??
Anyone else have this Sorry if it sounds silly, Obviously I know that there IS something inside of me, but it is just weird to actually feel it - without feeling it moving
I do feel flutters and such at night when I'm lying down
Thanks

It took a long time for me to feel the baby move... until I was 22 weeks. Before then, I felt like there was something in there; like a 'heaviness.' I guess you could say it was like feeling a softball inside. The baby probably is just curled up all nice and comfy and doesn't feel like really kicking much yet- except when you do feel the flutters. No worries!!

who knows
maybe you are feeling the baby. Just because she didnt doesnt mean you can't.
You got a lot going on in there... placenta, sac, fluid, etc.
Its totally possible.

I think I may be feeling the same as you, I think its because the baby is sleeping during the day, and active at night. So the baby is curled up so you feel more pressure. No idea, but your not alone ... But I do have to say I actually can feel my heart beating through my stomach and I was get excited its the babys heartbeat, but its clearly not hah

Yes, I think I know what you are talking about. I described it as pressure -like my uterus was pushing down on something - if I supported my belly with my hands I wouldn't feel it anymore. Is this what you mean? When I asked the dr. about it, he said it was round ligaments

Re: This may sound silly but I have to ask.....
i had round ligament pain on my right bikini area
this is under my belly button, to the left; right where i feel the baby - it feels like there is a softball in my body

like when you press on it, its hard or just feel heavy like there is something there?
I get the RL pain on the sides too, so when I felt this heaviness under my belly I didn't know that could be RL also.

I don't know if we're feeling the same thing, but last week I felt a bit of pressure/uncomfortable AF-like cramps in the lower part of my stomach. It was different from RLPs. I spoke to the doctor about it this week and she said the pressure is common and could be b/c the baby is getting bigger and possibly laying on my bladder.

If it's hard to the touch, it could just be your uterus. I know I could feel mine since mid/late first trimester. Now that it has moved up past my belly button, I can't feel it as easily.
