This morning's monitoring at day 9 of stims
and I don't know what to think or feel.
I went on Monday and had one 9 and two much smaller on the left and one very small on the right (which never produces anything). For me, as a poor responder, this was good. I was pretty happy. Dr. B. lowered my dose of Gonal-f and I have been feeling sensations on my left side all week.
This morning I go to AFS and the tech (who is truly wonderful) says that there are now two - 9 and 8. I don't know what this means? Either the 9 from Monday didn't grow or disappeared and these are the two smaller that were showing the other day. My lining is perfect (at 13) but that never seems to be the problem!
I'm really praying that I can get to retrieval this time and will push for it even with 2 follicles. Has anyone had a smiliar experience?

Are you doing acupuncture? They say it really helps follies grow. He says to drink tons of water when you cycle also. Good luck to you!!

Thanks. I'm not doing acupuncutre and I should be. I did it before and didn't have any noticeable improvement, but I should try either way. I'm going to call now and see if I can get in on Monday.

I don't have any experience since I am fairly new at this, but I just wanted to wish you luck

good luck.
I was always a poor responder and only got two. I went to retrieval with 2 once. I didn't get pregnant but I stim a long time.
How long do you usually stim for?

Thanks. I just spoke to Dr. B and he asked me to keep simming till Monday but he does feel like I'm not responding. That will be 12 days. If there is no change on Monday I will wait to do a new cycle in January with human growth hormone, which I know you have used also.

Re: This morning's monitoring at day 9 of stims
If you don't mind me asking, do you have elevated FSH? I had elevated FSH so when during each of my IVF cycle, I never really produced more than 4 or 5 mature follicles. Don't be discouraged. During my first 2 cycles, all of my follicles were on my left ovary and the right is always quiet or has small follicles too far behind. On my last cycle that was successful, my right ovary decided to join the party and produced more than my left. I only transferred 1 and yes, all you need is just one. Good luck!

Yes. that was me. 8 and 9 are really small. I personally think for me doing back to back cycles killed me. I'm now taking a little break and letting my body get to normal. I don't know if the HGH helped or not but for me I don't think it did a thing.
Good luck. Don't get discouraged.
