Maybe it would be a good idea to reschedule so no one needs to worry. I don't even know at this point if I would be able to make it tomorrow, I have been so sick.

I was so looking forward to the night out so I vote to still have it (very selfish of me).
They are calling for rain tomorrow night. If things change or don't look good then you can always cancel it late in the day (around 4 or so). If Applebee's is mad, tough cookies.

I have to agree too (for selfish reasons). It takes a lot for me to get out of the house ... I was really looking forward to this! I'd wait and see what happens early in the day tomorrow.

OK so I suppose I posted the poll too early, b/c of course the weather is way worse than they predicted. The "rain line" went 50 miles south of us & we got a ton of snow. It looks like it is going to freeze right after the commute tonight, and I am not sure too many people will want to risk it.
I myself have a truck that is meant for the snow (It used to have a plow), but I do not want anyone else to feel obligated. I could really use a night out too, but I am even afraid for my sitter to drive.
Let's say we wait until the mid-afternoon to make a final decision....is everyone OK with that??

DH has asked me to sequester myself and not leave the house today. He normally doesn't ask for those things, but given my current circumstances, I agreed to stay put.
The snow here is Western Nassau looks pretty bad (from my window) and frankly, I am a little nervous to drive. Unless we get a rainstorm that wipes out the snow and dries up by 5 pm, I will not be coming tonight.
I hope we are able to reschedule. If not, I hope whoever goes tonight has a great time. Have an Apple Walnut Chicken Salad for me!

Ok girls, they are now predicting 6 - 10 inches here. I think we might have to re-schedule. Sorry for all the girls who were willing to stick it out. I think for safety's sake we need to do it another time.
It looks like the poll is leaning toward next weekend, the 29th

In the event that the GTG doesn't happen tonight and we do reschedule, could we possibly NOT have it on a Friday?
I work a PT job at Kohl's and work EVERY Friday night.
I'd really love to come and meet all of you, but considering I usually only work 1-2 days a week (and Friday always being one of those days) I really can't get out of working.

Honestly, Ro started the process so long ago I am not sure what we originally asked. Maybe it is time for another poll..... I have no issue making it a lunch instead of a late night/HH.
