I asked my dr about this and he said its not necessary to sleep on left.
same here...i sleep however is comfortable

When are you supposed to start sleeping on your left side? I am 18w2d and have been sleeping every which way including belly. I didn't know this.

i feel your pain! i wake up in the middle of the night because my hip bone is sore and its painful so i'd spend all night flipping from the left to the right side and then back. my sister bought me the snoogle pillow and its helped alot with my comfort level. but it hasnt really helped with the hip pain.

I was a huge belly sleeper before and now whenever I find myself on my belly, it hurts. I bought a snoogle which I use when I sleep on my left side but I find myself constantly turning. So I keep an extra pillow on my right side for when I turn to that side. I am definitely not sleeping as soundly as I used to.

I start out on my left side but usually rotate from right to left all night long. Neither side is comfy to me, it is what it is

I start out on my left side but end up either on my back, or my right side...i havent had a good night sleep since i found out i was pregnant mostly from anxiety and nerves
