Thomas' First Birthday Party!!! Pics!!
Thomas' party turned out to be a huge success this Saturday! The weather was perfect! We couldn't have asked for better weather for an outdoor party in April!!
I know there are a lot of first birthday parties being planned, so here's a quick recap of what we did in case anyone needs ideas.
We rented a tent, tables and chairs from All American Tent Company. They were great to work with, and we were very happy with the setup. We started out with only one side up, just to get the effect of it (sides had pretty windows in them). Then, around cake time, the sun was going down and it got a little windy, so we put up all sides except one, and it blocked the wind and worked out great!
We ordered food from Primavera in Seaford/Massapequa. Excellent!
Cake from Dortoni. Delicious!!
We served beer, wine, soda, water and margaritas.
We played lawn bowling (inflatable, large pins and ball).
We had potato sack races (kids AND adults!)
We had a marshmallow toast with our fire pit.

OMG - so glad I saw this!!! I can't believe that Thomas is one!  He is such a handsome little man...I love all the pictures!!!

So happy to hear that All American Tent and Dortoni's did such a great job...we are using both too!
