Those cooking for V-day..
What are you planning on making? I want to cook a nice meal for DH but I always make the same things. I need different ideas!

Re: Those cooking for V-day..
Last year I made filet mignon au poivre with stuffed mushrooms and chocolate molten cakes in heart-shaped rammekins for dessert.
Another good idea would be fresh pasta (it's so easy if you have the kitchenaid mixer and pasta-maker attachment) - I've even made homemade ravioli !

Re: Those cooking for V-day..
I've been meaning to make filet au poivre again...so I may do that.
with a gratin and a nice salad with french blue cheese....
chocolate fondue and champagne for dessert.
and I'll wear my french maid outfit for authenticity

I'm thinking lasagna.
I always make heart shaped molten chocolate cakes for dessert.

I was going to do King Crab Legs, maybe a rice & veggie. Crepes for dessert. But I am really liking toni-mike's idea now!!

Re: Those cooking for V-day..
WE are doing V-Day a few days early. I'm making heart shaped pizzas. Not sure about sides yet.
And i think this cake for dessert... I mgiht tint the topping pink to make it more v-dayish. Cookies N Cream Cake
