Those of you who own bounce houses for your kids-- a few questions
I'm thinking this is the idea I want to do for DD's big b-day gift.
- Those of you who own one, which one do you have? Love it, hate it? Anything you wish it did/had that it doesn't?
- Also, how often do you use it? Obviously you don't leave it inflated all the time (I assume )...but how often do you drag it out and inflate it?
- Does your kid love it as much as you thought they would? Do they go in it when it's just them (no friends over, etc)?
- Is inflating it easy? Do most of them come with their own pumps?
- Has your bounce house held up through lots of uses/years?
- Anyone know of any great deals going on right now on them?
Thanks

Re: Those of you who own bounce houses for your kids-- a few questions
We bought ours from an E-bay seller...Its a 12x12 , it inflates in under 5 minutes and comes with its own electric pump ,and stores nicely... It's not commercial grade like the ones at carnivals etc.., but close enough and has held up without issue for almost 4 years...
http://cgi.ebay.com/Inflatable-Bounce-Bouncer-Jump-Castle-House-B-BN01-/330438034407?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cefa443e7
A ton of kids fit in it ( though I limit to 3 at a time for safety reasons) It comes out at every party!
This one doesn't have a roof, so if its set up in the shade, the floor can heat up, so shady spots are better
ETA- DS does ask to set it up sometimes, but its heavy so I have to wait for DH to get home to do it for him ...

Re: Those of you who own bounce houses for your kids-- a few questions
We have this one....
We just got it the other day, but Lily has played with it every day since we got it. And yesterday at her party, it was a HUGE hit! It easily fit 4 toddlers in it. At some points, even the adults got in on the bounce action and it was roomy!
We don't leave it inflated all the time....right now, it's folded in the yard, waiting for Lily to play with it. And when we do inflate it, it takes about 2 minutes....if that. It came with its own pump.
And....they're 20% off at TRU this week!!! Go get one!

We have the same one Lori has. DD loves it and we take it out whenever the weather is nice.
My BIL got it for DD for christmas because it was one of those can't pass up deals, but IDK the exact price.
IT's great to have because my sister (2 kids) and my brother (no kids but has parties with kids invited) have both used it.
Definitely fun to have.

Re: Those of you who own bounce houses for your kids-- a few questions
We have the same one as Lori, but without mesh in front of the slide.
This is the exact one from TRU, onsale for 20% off and there is free shipping too up to $25.
You can see it in Landon's birthday pictures. It was his birthday present this year and we used it for both of his parties. He loves it and plays with it all the time. Yes, he does go in it by himself but thats when he tries to sneak toys in there, which are not allowed! Its very easy to set up and inflates in under 5 minutes. Pump came with it.
There is nothing I would change about it. The ones with a shade canopy on top would be nice, but we have tons of shade in our yard so thats not an issue for us.
My neighbors have had the same one for years (actually they have Lori's version) and we always used to play on theirs and borrow theirs for parties and playdates. Theirs is 5 yrs old I think and is in perfect condition.. this is why we went with the little tikes one.

Re: Those of you who own bounce houses for your kids-- a few questions
Great, thanks ladies. I think we'll go with the one most of you have. I do wish it had a roof, but we do have a decent amount of shade most of the late afternoon so I guess it's not too big of a deal. And the TRU deal right now seems to be pretty good (thanks for the heads up ladies!)
Yay, she's going to LOVE it!

The one Lori has comes with the top covered...we are getting that one because we knocked down all of our trees and have yet to replace anything.

Do you know if that one is online somewhere (TRU) so I can see the difference? I'm so clueless with this for some reason

Thanks mama
The only real difference is the cover, right? I think we'll go for the covered one then, I like the sun protection whenever possible.

Re: Those of you who own bounce houses for your kids-- a few questions
The one I have has the roof, and there are mesh panels on the front and the back. And openings both in the front and the back..... It's called the Little Tykes Shady Jump and Slide Bouncer. I think it might be a little taller than the one without the roof also.

Re: Those of you who own bounce houses for your kids-- a few questions
We have the one Lori has since last year. DS LOVES it! HUGE it with the kids!
Inflates in 1-2 minutes. It's not that heavy to move around. My BIL has a huge one and it's big deal to set it up (to move it!).
But it's not made for adults. Just kids!
ETA: without the cover top. We have shade from huge trees where it's set up.

I'd save $40 and get the one without a top, esp since you said you have good shade in your backyard.

We also have the little tykes one for almost 2 years now. The kids love it. We use it whenever we have people over.
We keep it in the garage.

Re: Those of you who own bounce houses for your kids-- a few questions
We got the one that Lori has without the roof. Bella loves it and it's a great thing to have. We break it out all the time.
It's super easy to inflate and take down. Comes with a storage bag you just roll it up and put in.
