Those pregnant by IVF
how was your due date determined? I used an IVF calculator and it said to put my retrieval date in which was 3/11. It said my due date iis 12/2. When I went for my 7.5 week sono they told me my due date was 11/28. I mean I guess I go by what the dr says but last time I was pregnant my retrieval was 7/26 and my due date was 4/18 which is exactly what this IVF calculator said and the Dr agreed. I'm just confused why it's different this time? Thanks!

mine is by my retrieval date as well. the baby measured pretty close. try using a different calculator.

Just checked 2 other sites and they all come back with 12-2. I went to the re today and I was measuring exactly 8 weeks which is what I am today. I guess when I go to my regular OB on Thursday I'll ask them. Thanks!

I used an IVF calculator and your due date should be 12/2.
Also, I had my retrieval 6 days after you on 3/17 and my due date is 12/8. That is what the calculator said and my RE too.
I'm not sure why your RE has a different date? Maybe ask them again next time?

That settles it. I'm sticking with 12/2, I'm used to that date now lol. I wonder if he had the wrong date in the sono machine. I'll mention it to my ob and see what he says. Majority rules though, 12/2 it is until I go into labor on 11/28

I figured it out using a calculator but when I went to my RE for the first scan at 6 weeks he gave me a slightly earlier date. Since then it has changed by a day here and there, but my ob is sticking the original one.

my dates changed a lot over the first few weeks - i just kept the one that i liked the best. it always ranged within 5-6 days ahead of the calculator based on the baby's measurements. remember when measuring on a sono that early each fraction of a centimeter can be a day in gestational time so its not uncommon for it to be off the first few weeks until the baby is bigger. also different people measuring got different dates too so it really has to with the exact points they are measuring from, its not an exact science.

My retrieval was 3/4 and my due date is 11/25 - my doc and the calculator had the same date.

When do you guys/will you start wearing materinity clothes? I am starting to get very uncomfortable in my jeans and leggings but haven't taken the plunge yet to go shopping. I am still very swollen and bloated b/c I hyperstimulated, so just wondering if you guys still feel very bloated from IVF?
