Those that just converted to Gas from Oil
Did you get any rebates for doing this either with the Govt, State, LIPA, etc..?

nothing...there was (do not know if its good for this year) a $500 rebate if you updated your burner to a more efficent one...not from oil to gas.

You can claim it on your tax return as an energy credit. Not sure how much you get. but definately remember it come tax time.

Def. remember this at tax time, but it has to be a certain type or something like that and you can only claim so much of it. Ask your tax person about it. And save whatever receipt you got form it.
