Those w/ picky toddler Eaters- this is helping us!
So I have posted a plenty about how bad an eater Noah is, he was even falling off the charts and we had him evaluated and he gets a nutritionist to help us.
He will eat the same 3 foods and only that and not even that sometimes.
Anyway..lately he has wanted to "Help" cook.
It is working like a charm in getting him to eat what he makes.
Now dont get me wrong, this makes things take MUCH longer and much messier ( milk on the floor, counters a mess etc) ...but I will take it if he is eating new things.
So far this week he has eaten a TON of new stuff...Tuna helper, Spinach fettunicine, sandwiches etc. he has NEVER even attempted to try these.
He pours things in, stirs them, helps me w/ the timer and then gets excited when it goes off, yells DONE...and sits and waits.
Many times ( most) he only eats a mouthful, but he is TRYING.
So maybe this will help some of you all. I hope it does.

That IS great....I've found that DD realllllly loves helping in the kitchen lately too, though she hasn't been as into trying new stuff as Noah is....hopefully soon though
