Those who had themed B-day parties

Did you "theme" the favors if you had them? And what did you give?

I did Sesame Babies.
Thanks to Joenick (Val) I was able to "theme" the favors.
In the boxes, I put ELMO books.

Re: Those who had themed B-day parties

We usually theme most of our favors, but do throw a few things in each bag that are not a part of the theme.

Some of the non themed stuff we included was:
Bubbles
Bouncy Balls
Stickers
Bracelets(for girls)
Toy bugs (for boys)

I'm kinda doing the opposite of Karebaby... I am not theming the favor... but I will theme the girl's favor stuffers...my theme is princess... so obviously I wont be theming the boys...

We had a princess theme. The girls got wands and princess duckies. The boys got knight and dragon duckies. We also added some books and balls.

Oriental trading makes the duckies in just about any theme you can think of. That might be something you can get.

Maybe you could get backyardigans stickers and then throw other stuff in too. This way it is all pulled together.

I was going to say similar to above - maybe Backyardagins stickers, coloring books, etc to pulll it together. My SIl had found little Backyardagins card gaves and masks in her favors when she used that theme.

I usually just add 1-2 things that relate to the theme but the entire favor is not themed. I typically put things that are some of my son's favorite things at the time. This year was bob the builder and we found plush bob the builder dolls and gummy tool candy. The rest was some cookies, candy, tattoo's, stickers, sticker book, etc.

we had a Backyardigans theme....I went to Party City and bought those chinese food boxes in the colors of the Backyardigans, and decorated them with Backyardigan stickers, and put Backyardigan pencils , I found Backyardigans fruit snacks, and some other toys with them on it.
I also put bubbles, playdoh in the boxes.

Re: Those who had themed B-day parties

We did Mickey Mouse this year and I gave out favor bags with a Mickey hard cover mini-book, Mickey pen, Mickey stickers, Mickey note pad, and Mickey ears. (Oh and a firetruck tatoo b/c his party was partially at a firehouse)
