Those who have done big boy/girl rooms...
What did you do for bedding?
DS loves Cars, and I am on Target.com and they have some not so bad Cars stuff
Or did you do more "neutral" stuff and just do accessories like that?
I also like this set

I'm in the process of doing Claire's room and I'm going with polka dots.
The bedding, curtains etc have polka dots. I'm pretty much bringing in the dots wherever I can. Not subtle at all.

DDs room is more subtle. I just brought in the theme with some accesories...not the entire room.

I got Lucas a set from Pottery Barn Kids...
For no other reason than it had the number 27 on it (his birthday). But not the sheets...to busy for my taste...I am going with solid color sheets for this quilt.
This is the one I want to get him now

Kate, I bought the 2nd one you posted in toddler size and Logan LOVES it! He hated blankets and I could never put them on him when he was awake, always had to wait till he fell asleep but then would always kick it off. With this comforter he won't go to bed without us tucking him in :). I requested the quilt version from my sisters as a christmas present :)

His room has a Curious George theme and I've been trying to find sheets that match that - no luck so far!

I'm not into themes so I did cream eyelet bedding, cherry furniture and some victorian floral. It may not be as fun as she would like but it's pretty I'm sure if I let her pick we'd have Barbie pink walls and princess bedding
