What were the major symptoms???

My daughter has been alarmingly exhausted the past couple of days. She has a cold, no sore throat, chills, a fever and some diarrhea. A little coughing but nothing terrible. She just feels totally washed out.

I though swine would have a fever, but when I looked it up online it said not necessarily.

Do you think I should take her to get tested?

i don't know the major symptoms but it sounds like she should go to the doctor regardless of if its the swine flu or not, let them decide if she needs to be swabbed

I had a probable case of it last spring. I'm a teacher and got REALLY sick while kids in my school had it, some who were hospitalized.

Anyway if I were you, for those symptoms, I would call the doctor and see what they think.... maybe they will tell you to come in.... maybe not.


When I had (what we think was) swine, I remember it came on quickly, I started to feel sick on a Tuesday morning and while I was at work I got the chills, a fever, then broke out in a terrible sweat....... and that's basically what it was like for a week!! A rotation between extreme chills where my body would shake....... fever........ and then sweat and get so hot that I would need cold dishrags all over me to cool off.......... It was pretty AWFUL!



If you haven't developed any 'red flag' flu symptoms yet, I'd say it's probably not it..... but regardless of what the 'label' is, you should find out what's wrong with at least a phone call to the dr Even if it's not swine flu, it could be something else that could easily be taken care of!

I just had it (or my doc said i probably did).

I had
-fever
-chills
-terrible cough
-trouble breathing

A week later, I still have the cough, and I'm constantly exhausted. I went to bed at 7:30 last night. It's taken everything out of me.

My best friend had it. She had a fever of around 102 and a terrible cough. It lasted less than a week.

Thanks everyone!! She feeling much better. I think it was just a bad cold. I guess I'm just nervous because of all the swine flu hoopla.
