Those who have hired a dog trainer...
how much did it cost? I'm trying to get an idea of what is reasonable. Thanks.

I don't know where you live but we've taken our dog to Doggie U in Bay Shore since puppy K. They run around $130 for 6 week 1 hour sessions. www.doggieuk9.com

 alright then, does anyone know how I can find an obedience class in Nassau? I am in East Meadow.

One on one was about $100 per session. We also did group lessons though the Town of Smithtown. If my dog did not have a specific issue, the group classes would have been enough. We took the same group class twice and it was worth it.

They offer one at the Rockville Center Rec Center which is where I took my dogs as puppies.
