Those who have ING savings
I was going to do a search but to search "ING"...I figured I would come up with every post that has a word ending in "ing" so...
Is it easy to transfer funds between the ING account and your regular bank account? Do you really see a lot of $ growth?
thanks

Re: Those who have ING savings
It is really simple once you set it up initially. The savings is 4.5% return, which I believe is the highest out there. If you get a 6 month cd it is 5.5%

Re: Those who have ING savings
We transfer money between our BOA account and ING all the time. Very easy once the account is established.
And we see a heck of a difference in the interest rate over BOA. But there are other banks out there (Commerce and HSBC I think) that have high yield savings accounts too.

Re: Those who have ING savings
I used to transfer all the time and it was very easy. Usually I'd see the money in ING within 24-48 hours.
I still have ING but have been putting money every week into HSBC.com since they have a higher rate. 6% from 1/31(?) to 4/30 and then it drops to 5.05%. It takes longer to transfer to them, though.

Very easy as long as you have all your bank info (routing # etc)

Re: Those who have ING savings
We have the money market account through HSBC and are very pleased. It's incredibly easy to transfer money and there are no fees for doing so.

Re: Those who have ING savings
the only down side is if you have to transfer $ back from ING to your checking- it takes 2-3 days.... that has gotten me in trouble a few times.
otherwise I love it & we make excellent interest

I have that one.
eta: I also have a citibank checking account and transfer money instantly. It's worth it to have the two accounts.
