Those who suffer from anxiety/panic attacks?
Are you ever fine for a few years (unmedicated and w/ out treatment) and then all of a sudden start having them frequently again? I had bad panic attacks years ago, was fine for 5 years, and now, within the past year have been suffering from them again.

my husband controls his by taking vitamin B and L-theanine. the are both great aides for the nervous system - he takes them everyday whether he is having an anxious day or not. fortunately he has not had a full blown "attack" in just over 2 years.

Re: Those who suffer from anxiety/panic attacks?
i will go through the cycle too, been on and off meds for the past 5 years. the past year has of course been the worse but it's been getting less and less.... one trick i have learned it as soon as i feel it coming on(works sometimes and easier said then done) i keep myself distracted from it... move from where it was that is started, so if i was in my room, i move to another room, the kitchen and get something to eat, or play music and dance around a little... or come on here and see if there are post i can reply too... i hope this helps a little and make some kind of sence. and like i said it works sometimes but it is great when it does i am here if you ever need anything

Re: Those who suffer from anxiety/panic attacks?
yes I have been on and off. I never had an anxiety attack but close.
I'm a tightly wound person to begin with. I get B12 shots and avoid all caffeine.
This really helps me..also I journal everyday. I look back week by week to see how I'm doing and just being aware helps me through it.

I think they get worse when you are upset or bothered by something you are not dealing with.
Its that subconcious expression of emotion (at least for me).
