I made two cakes last night, and I'm assembling them tonight. I'm torting both cakes to make 4 layers.

I've NEVER done this before! I bought the cake leveler from Wilton. Any advice? Each cake is less than 2 inches tall since I used an 8x2 pan and didn't fill it all the way. I'm afraid torting it will make the cakes too thin and break.

Any words of wisdom to help me out? Thanks!
