i unfortunatly cant just plug in my laptop anymore, since i broke it.. so i haev a special charger.
im supposed to get 2 hours on it.
i MAYBE get 5 minutes now.

I think Mac batteries are supposed to last for a few years before they need to be replaced.
I'm not sure about PCs. I had one years ago and it never really held a charge for more than 20 minutes.

Our laptop is 6 years old and we still have the same battery, but we use it with the ac adaptor, so I guess I'm not much help.

When this happened to mine I just had to get a new computer, eventually the jack stopped working for the charger too.

When did you buy it? can you return it? Is the charger charged?

i think i just need a long lasting battery. i htink they mae 6 hour ones.
