Those with more than one and had a V delivery 1st time
Were you other following deliveries also vaginal or c section, and if C section, why.

I had a V delivery both times. 1st time I was induced, labored around 13 hours and I pushed for about 2 hours.
2nd time, I went into labor on my own, and pushed DD out in 2 pushes.
The nurses said the 2nd time around, labor and pushing is much faster. They weren't kidding!

Both boys were vaginal deliveries. The first I was induced, the second I went into labor the day before I was scheduled to be induced. My labor moved SUPER fast the 2nd time around. From first contraction to pushing him out was only about 6 hours. And that was with giving me an hour to rest after the epi to get my strength back up to push.

vaginal both times... the 2nd time around the labor was much quicker and recovery much easier...

I ALMOST had to have a section for #2 because DS was breech. But he flipped.

this is what I'm terrified about..DD came in a total of 2.5 hours, thats including 20 minutes of pushing, she was my first, we're terrified that DH is going to have to deliver the next one in the car

My first was over 21 hrs in labor including 2 hrs of pushing
Carlo was leaving my apt at 1:30 am and born at 4:30 am

This makes me nervous too- I was induced for the first but from the first contraction (that I felt) to birth was only 3 hours! I didn't even need pitocin. I'm going right to the hospital for the 2nd (when/if that happens)!

The only advice I can give is the second you feel a contraction, head right to the hospital! They made me take an entire bag of IV fluids before they would give me the epidural. I was almost 9cm when I finally got it. They tried to convince me to skip it, but I had been in a lot of pain for like 2 hours, so they culdn't deny me since I''d been asking for the epi all along.

thanks..DH is begging me to literally tell him the second I feel like I need to do anything to tell him bc he's a nervous wreck..here I am barely a minute pregnant and this is what he's freaking out about

That's better then my DH. I woke him to tell him I was in labor and he told me to go back to bed, I was being induced the next day. Then he saw me have a contraction and knew I was serious.

he literally just emailed me of names he likes and this thought that he had about what happens bc he's really nervous about how quick it's going to be and can they put me in the hospital the week of my due date to be on the safe side
