Those with sinus issues - anyone's Dr. tell them NOT to use the nasal rinses?

Those with sinus issues - anyone's Dr. tell them NOT to use the nasal rinses?
My Dr. said not to use it. The crux of his reasoning was that the saline left behind dries out your sinuses even more - obviously not a good thing. Anyone ever hear this?

No. My doctor told me to use it at least once a day, if not more.

No. My doctor told me to use it at least once a day, if not more.
My doctor told me the same thing...to use it once a day...same for my son.

my Dr told me no also. My sinuses get inflammed - nasal washes and sprays make it worse. sounds gross but my dr told me to try blwing my nose while taking a warm shower.
