Re: thoughts on a fourth child
I'm probably not in the minority, but I say go for it! I wish I could have, but my age, plus high blood pressure issues after I had my 3rd didn't make it a possibility. I come from a big family and enjoyed the dynamics of it growing up. Plus, now that we are older and have kids, the family gatherings are super fun and my kids have tons of cousins. Good Luck in whatever you decide.

Re: thoughts on a fourth child
I feel like financially I would not be able to support 4 if they all went to college. I'm not a fan of astronomical student loans.

People who say "OMG your crazy" are people like me, who couldn't in a million years imagine having, raising or handling 4 children. It takes a very specific type of couple to do this - I'm too controlled, too organized, NOT at all laid back enough ......I would be in a constant state of overwhelmed panic
but if you can afford to care for 4 kids, and give them your time and be happy - why wouldn't you have as many as YOU wanted and could care for?
I'd have an anxiety attack just thinking about a 3rd !!
This exactly!!!!
