Thoughts on Ray Donovan this season?
I'm very ehhhh on it.
It's definitely slow.
I am not a fan of this whole Katie Holmes and her family story line.
Just kind of blah this season.

ITA. Too many "family" storylines, not enough Ray. He's like an accessory at this point, just supporting all the other story lines... His job used to be dangerous and exciting. Now its so boring. He's essentially a babysitter for Finney's adult kids.

I feel like the writers are blaming Abby in a way. Let me explain  He decides he wants to save his marriage so he becomes boring. I think he should just get divorced. He's cheated on her 100000 times, she has 1 affair and she's punished for it and its a big deal. Just end it already. That part is bothering me, I hate the serial cheating as it is, but then the fact that Abby did it is so horrible but its OK for him.
I agree it's all over the place this season, the Arians, Mickey's prostitution ring, the Finney's, Bunchie & the WWF chick, the priest/murder rap, Brigitte and the teacher….

Yeah that is what kills me. He is all high and mighty about her cheating with the cop. Um hello? Pot? Meet Kettle.
He cheats left and right. Or is that ok because he is the man, but the woman is supposed to sit home with her legs crossed while her husband bones everything with a pulse? What a double standard! It aggravates me to no end.

I'm actually enjoying the season but I agree that there needs to be more of him doing his job. I hate the guy that plays Katie Holmes DH. He always plays such creepy roles.

She mentioned on the show that she had migraines and that the braces were supposed to help with that? 
I have never heard of braces for migraines.
Nor do I get what her migraines have to do with the plot line at all.

I enjoyed this season
His job this time is to do what ever that finney guy wants and to take care of his own pathetic family

I'm really loving this season. The whole Finney's and Paige storyline along with the church. Ray being ex-communicated from the catholic church and at the same time Paige is almost this "evil devil role" Temptation. The braces symbolize evil/power she can eat a man alive.

I agree. I find myself staring at those braces every single scene she is in, but I still think she plays the part well. She makes some weird faces in some scenes... and I am thinking "is she trying to look sexy and it just isn't working?"
I love this season. Does anyone know how many episodes are left?

I don't think its the cheating that Ray had trouble forgiving it's the fact that she told the cop about the murdered boyfriend and involved him, that's what pissed him off.
I'm liking this season, the braces are annoying though lol
