DH is thinking of upgrading my engagement to a three stone ring. in your opinion, what would be a good size for the side stones if the center stone is 1.6 CT Thanks!!

Re: Three stone ring question
3 stone rings traditionally have the sides adding up to the weight of the center - BUT sometimes that's "too much" for some people and they prefer smaller.
My best suggestion is to go online or to a store and check out several different sizes to see what strikes you!

Re: Three stone ring question
I have a 3 stone engagement ring My center stone is 1 ct and the side stones are 1/4 ct each. To me, it's perfectly balanced.
So for you, I'd go up a bit on the side stones since the center will be a bit larger than mine

My center stone is 1 ct and the sides are both 1/2. I love the way it looks.

yup--that's what my ring is too. i like the balance of having the center stone larger than the side stones
