Re: throwing my sister a baby shower..

I just had a bridal shower for my sister at J&R's Steakhouse. The price was great $13.99 and included coffee and tea, salad, bread and a choice of entrees, plus the cake (which was very pretty). They have a private party room.

The Irish Coffee pub in East Islip is really nice, and I love Sea Levels in Brightwaters.

We just booked the Garden Grill in Smithtown for a Christening but lots of girls have used it for showers too.

How many people are u thinking of having? And will it be just the girls?

You know I'm a fan of Milk & Sugar...and not to sound biased, but I think my baby shower worked out pretty well there! Chat Icon

I like Three Village Inn in Stony Brook, too.

If you want something small and different, u can always go for tea at a Tea Room (with finger-sandwiches, etc). That's always a lot of fun with just the girls - and very intimate! There are 2 tea rooms that I know of: one in Stony Brook Village and one in Greenport.

I can suggest:

Three Village Inn
The Irish Coffee Pub
J & Rs Steak House

I went to parties at all the above and they were GREAT.

My baby shower was at Nocello's in Northport. It was a Sunday Brunch and I absolutley LOVED it!

I was going to say Shandon Court- place is great and cheaper than Irish Coffee house and Captain Bills. We are having SIL shower there in JUne.. Dates are tight so if its for the summer you better get goingChat Icon

I *think* they start around $26 pp-we looked into them two years ago for our rehearsal dinner.
