thyroid question
What is a normal # for your thyroid to be at to become PG? I thought it was under 5, but my doctor wants to get me down to 0. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's last spring. They are still trying to find the right dose of synthroid. first I was on 25 and my numbers were 7.9, they upped it to 50 and my numbers were 2.4 so they upped it again to 75 and my numbers were 3.9 so they just upped it again to 100mcg.

Re: thyroid question
0 seems too low, but I've also learned that the information varies from Dr. to Dr.
My Dr. wanted to see my TSH no higher than 2 before we went ahead with TTC with meds. As soon as I got to 1.7, we were given the go-ahead.
Synthroid can be frustrating to find the right dose, but they WILL find it--lots of luck to you!!!

Re: thyroid question
the "newer" rec is 2.5 or under.
When I was PG on Thyroid meds it was up to like almost 4 and they upped my meds.
