I didn't see you can get the droid 2 for free at VZ. Only difference between global and regular is if you travel or not and need cell coverage.
Incredible should be the same experience but the interface is slightly different. Im not a fan of motorolla motoblur. its just a software addin on top of the google OS. HTC has something similar but works 10x better.
Keyboard is a big deal to some so check out the droid pro as that is a portrait keyboard (like a blackberry)
I think im out of info. let me know how everything turns out.
I saw couponcodes for wirefly and it directed me to the free Droid 2.
Depends on which site you go to cuz I tried it again...retailmenot is no longer free but savings.com is.

ETA OH GEEZ. I had to read closely. The coupon says $199 off a Droid 2, but then you click on it, and it takes you to the Incredible. So weird.

I have the Ally and dh has the Incredible. I like mine as I don't like the touch screen keyboard. He loves it.

dh and i just got the incredible. we had a deal buy 1 get 1 free and unlimited texting and e-mails. we were going to buy online, but the guy offered a better deal in store.
it is all touch.

With regards to insurance on the phone, amazonwireless is offering
1.99 extended warranty
6.99 equipment coverage
Which one is necessary?
Oh and by the way- went to the stores and I'm getting over my keyboard-snobbiness and going with an Incredible.

not sure the difference between the 2. You may want to call whomever and ask.
warranty typical just does basic stuff that relates to the phone software breaking or buggy.
equipment coverage is probally when you lose it and or break it yourself.
If you want it right away, best buy has it for free also. They were great to deal with.
