Timing of OPK question

So I normally take my digital opk when I first get up with fmu. But I think I read somewhere that you should do it later in the day.

What time during the day do you normally take your opk? Does it even make a difference?

I was taking them when I first woke up too. But this month I never saw the line just as dark as the control line or darker (it was close though so I just made a guess). I read on here or another site that you should do it at like 11AM if possible and then 11PM again to just make sure.

Digital (smiley) OPKs can be taken with FMU. If you're using the line tests, they do not recommend using FMU - which is why PP may not have gotten a + last month.

If you're testing at least once every 24 hours, the chance are good you won't miss your surge.
