Tiny bumps....oatmeal or cutting tooth?

Today is Day 3 of oatmeal and she just happens to be cutting a tooth also, at least I think. It's red, swollen and she is miserable.

I am noticing since this morning tiny bumps on her cheeks and under her lips which I figured was from so much drooling.

Now I see some on her arms. Chat Icon They are very subtle and really just bumps. Only a few are red.

Anyone's DC have this?

DS gets them from time to time but only on his face as far as I have seen. It could be the oatmeal is bothering her. Has she been allergic to anything else? Call the ped. see what they think.Chat Icon Chat Icon

tough call. i would stop the oatmeal and see what happens. presumably the teething stuff is going to go on for longer, so if it's the teething the bumps should persist and if it's the oatmeal they should go away, kwim?

if it gets worse, though, i might call your ped just to be sure.

p.s. - jonah has his first tooth too... can you believe how big they are already?

Are hers on the arms too? It's so slight but it's making me wonder...

DS gets these bumps on his cheeks and the tops of his arms sometimes. The ones on his cheeks are from drooling, from teething. The doctor gave him a non-steriod cream to help get rid of them. He said the one's on his arms are just from him having sensitive skin. Chat Icon

The cream he's on is a prescription called Atopiclair (sp?).
