Tip dance teacher? or gift?
My girls just said "we have to give our dance teacher a gift"
I didn't even think of it!
is this standard procedure?

I teach dance and get gifts from maybe 1/3 of my students. So it is not necessary, but it is appreciated. I get anything from a box of chocolates, to candles, to ornaments, to gift cards.

I'm giving the dance teachers $5 Starbucks GC with a custom cookie (looks like a coffee cup).
Last year I got them hand stamped silver bracelets that said "Keep Calm and Dance On"

I usually buy the dance teachers a nice candle for Christmas and then a gift card for end of the year. I also buy the helpers a gift.

For my DD's dance teacher the whole class gave $10 each and we got her a gift card to Starbucks.
