tip question prenatal massage

so I am going for my first prenatal massage today!!!!

Here is my possible dumb questions. .

I just found out I actually get 8 that are covered by my insurance but here is the question. . if insurance covers my massage do I still tip? If so, how much? I don't even know how much the massage would be w/o the insurance.

Re: tip question prenatal massage

Yea I would definitely still tip- I'd call and find out how much the massage is ahead of time and then give the therapist 20%

First of all that is so awesome that your insurance covers massages!!! And yes def tip the person doing it. I had a prenatal massage and I tipped her $20. The massage was $75 for an hour.

Thanks! That's about what I was thinking. Yeah, I have NO idea how the insurance works. it's bc the massage person joined by chiropractors office and bc I prepaid for services, they bill it in an inclusive way. . i don't think i could go just anywhere but it's still soooo amazing. It will only work until December but I'm going to take advantage while I can!
