Are you going this weekend? It’s going to be 90 degrees there on Saturday!

We actually just got back and it was 90 degrees. It was so damn hot!! The outdoor pools and of course the indoor pool was open at the hotel so that was good.

Thanks for everyone's advice. I took a lot of it and it worked out really well. We did the preview the night before which allowed us to bang out some rides but not the most popular ones. The wait times for those were insane but all other rides were fine. The next morning we took advantage of the early entry through the hotel and we did the Cupfusion and Laff Track then. The ride lines were fine all day. My only complaint was that the park was understaffed so a lot of the little kid rides were closed. It made it hard because my older guy wanted to ride the big kid rides and normally I could my LO's occupied right there while we waited for him but I would have to go someplace else to find them rides.

Loved the Lodge. Stayed in the Tower as recommended. Thank you for that because I can tell that hotel needs some updating. I was not prepared for how huge the place is. The restaurant you recommended, The Bear Club or something? was great. Good food! We definitely want to go back in the summer for the water park. IDK that I would stay at the Hershey properties again. I think they are a little steep in price and while the shuttle is a nice perk, we ended up just driving the next day to save time. The early entry was a great perk though too.

Tips for Hershey? 1st trip!

We just got back today and it was sooo hot and crowded! I was shocked at how many of the rides and food stands were closed. Every ride we went on had a 30 min or more wait time. We spent 3 hours at Chocolate World this morning and the activities we did there were actually really nice and fun.

The first night we had dinner at Smoked which was really good, then we went to Troegs Brewery for drinks and dessert...that place was amazing! Best blueberry pie I ever had. We had lunch at the Iron Hill Brewery today and we thought the food was just ok.
