tips on getting rid of the bottle
Please...I know he is 17 mnths and still on the bottle he takes water fine out of the sippy cups...but he needs to be rid of the bottle..please give me any tips or rec. on a sippy cup...thanks

Don't feel bad....DS is 21 months and we just got him off. We first cut out the night one and replaced it with a sippy....not a problem, except for the first few nights he didn't drink too much of it. Last week we replaced the morning one wiht a milk sippy....I got him the straw ones and since he loves drinking out of a straw it made the transition pretty easy.

We did the same thing 2 weeks ago. With Kaydyn there was no way of cutting them down....as soon as she saw the bottles she would get hysterical and ask for them all day long. So one Sat morning I threw out ALL her bottles and there was no going back.
