TMI but feeling a little scared...updated

I feel like my doctors office is going to think I'm crazy if I keep calling for the same thing over and over and everything turns up fine.

the past 2 days, ive had cramping in the middle, over my uteris. sometimes it hurts really bad, and this morning, i thought it was because i hadn't gone number 2 in 3 days. (again, sorry for the tmi). I go, thinking that the cramps were related to that and it hurt like heck. 20 minutes or so later I pee, I wipe, and i see a pink stringy substance on the paper towel.

another 20 minutes later, i pee again and the paper is completely clear (my pee is clear at the current moment with the amount of water I drank). I still feel the cramping.

I do have a cyst on my left ovary, but what makes me think this isn't a burst is that i don't feel it on my left side; i feel everything in the middle. it's not intense; i'm not keeled over or anything, and i feel a little nauseous but not greatly. i'm 11w3d. should i relax???

Update:

2 hour wait at the doctors office. Ridiculous.

To be honest I didn't think I had to go because all was fine - the pain is from stretching and gas (knew it, I said that to the nurse but the second you mention blood they make you come in). But I'm glad they did. They ended up doing the nuchal and the odds for downs looks really good. The cyst is the same size, but that can't be the reason for my pain since my pain is over the uteris, not on the left side.

I told the nurse I didn't really think I had to come in, being that I did have an appointment scheduled for next week. And she said she'd be concerned if I wasn't calling and asking questions.

Also, the last few urine tests had small traces of blood, so she thinks that's normal on my part.

My ob told me everyone gets a cyst after you concieve and it stays there for awhile.

BUT if your nervous, you should call the Dr

I have had terrible cramps and pains in the am only, but after a few days I figured out its gas. since you haven't gone #2 that could be your issue as well, but its always better to play it safe and call

Call your Dr. and don't feel embarassed about it. They're there to help you and answer all your questions/concerns, there is nothing they haven't heard or seen.

Better to err on the side of caution.

Trust me - your OB and his/her office are 100% used to women - ESPECIALLY first-timers - calling over every little thing. I'm positive they'd rather you call than not call.

If you are worried about something, you should always call them! They would rather speak to you than have you google yourself into a frenzy.

Hang in there - I am glad you called the office and hope you hear back soon! Chat Icon

Glad to hear all is well! From past experience, straining during a bowel movement can cause spotting. It's good to get checked out anyway though!
