TMI: GYN yearly ?
Did you ever go when you had your period? Or do you end up rescheduling?

Once in college, but it was a specific visit because my period was very heavy and not stopping, so they wanted to make sure there wasn't anything else going on.

I went during the tailend of my period!!! It was so light, and they said that was absolutely fine! They did tell me if it was heavy, they can't do a pap

i was on BCP for years so i always knew when AF would be in town and made my appointments accordingly. i have never gone for my exam during my period. i would reschedule if that happened.

i reschedule. one time i had an appt and aunt flo arrived so i called and they told me its better to just reschedule.

You can go if you can't reschedule.
When going through IF treatments they need to see us on day 3 of our cycle, that's day 3 of our period. Gross, I know, but you get used to it.
Trust me, they've seen everything.

alsways reschedule unless it was an emrgency. Because they cannot get an accurate pap smear that way. I have gone to the gyn when I have my period though because of emergency situations.

Yes, but I would ask your office b/c if you are scheduled to get a pap, they can't do it while you are bleeding.
