TMI question about green smoothies

I was so reluctant to try green smoothies...but I love them! I don't vary them too much...spinach/Swiss chard and frozen strawberries and kiwi. Maybe an apple if one of the kids were having one.

As soon as I started my BMs have been less than...ahem...solid. Nothing that couldn't be controlled thought KWIM?

we went away on vacation and I stopped the smoothies and everything went back to normal. I started them up and it came right back.

Will this get any better? How long does it take? I was doing it for a good month+. I don't really want to add powders...but would that help?

I have always been a big spinach eater and never had this reaction.

You can freeze banana and blend it up smooth with a little water and add too.

I've juiced before and would have same issues. It's annoying. I did notice that if you do it enough, it seems to go away.

I suppose I could eat a banana with it. I tried 1/2 of a banana this morning and it brought the cold level down. So I ate the other half...hopefully it regulates

TMI question about green smoothies

Whenever I have bananas that I won't finish and may go bad, I peel them and stick them in a plastic bag in the freezer to use in smoothies or banana ice cream. I never have a "banana" flavor and its pretty neutralizing for the veggies.
