Re: TMI question RE:shaving
I have continued to shave even though I can't see. I just try to feel around even though there are spots I miss I just can't stand if I didn't shave!

What about getting waxed? That way you don't have to worry about cutting yourself.

That was gonig to be my suggestion. I've gone already at 4 weeks and 9 weeks and plan on going throughout my pregnancy.
Yes, it's painful - pregnant and not pregnant, but the pain is SO temporary and the results last for a nice amount of time!

Re: TMI question RE:shaving
I actually purchased the sensitive skin nair bikini stuff and it worked like a charm, although it was the hardest task i've done in quite some time it worked! I had to sit on the edge of the tub though for 8 minutes and then bring in a mirror i was laughing to myself the whole time doing it!

I thought you were not supposed to use any of those creams.

A friend told me that their sister in law used it when she was pregnant with twins and found out it was ok to use.

Re: TMI question RE:shaving
I hate to admit but I gave up shaving about 2 weeks ago. That's the last time I did it and I gave myself awful razor burn and a couple of nicks. Not worth it. DH is willing to do the job when it gets closer to my due date

I can't see what I'm doing either, but I still shave. I hate not shaving. I do it by feel, and sometimes I cut myself. But it's worth it for me.

Exactly. I was waxing before getting pregnant and still am. It is so much easier (although a lot more expensive than shaving ). I was actually thinking about going back to shaving to save some money, so I'm thinking while I can still see everything down below I'll shave but once the view is blocked, I'll go back to waxing.
The things we have to deal with.

I am going for the amazon woman look I can't see a thing, I'm huge and uncomfortable and I thought about getting waxed before the big day, but I'm still on the fence...

Re: TMI question RE:shaving
i shave every week. it's the dreaded day of the week but i have to get it done. 1 i feel gross if i don't shave 2 i try to make it look presentable for DH and 3 i started internals last week and the last thing i want is my dr trying to find my vajay jay through a forest haha. i can't see anything (heck, i can barely shave my thighs!!) so i kinda try and feel around and shave but then what i miss, i sit outside of the shower and shave in front of the mirror. i wish i could go au natural but i just cant.

Re: TMI question RE:shaving
I havent been able to see anything for quite a while. Before pool weather I was just going for the natural look but now since i dont want it to look like theres a squirrel in my bathing suit i take a mirror into the shower.

Re: TMI question RE:shaving
Just remember, the doctors aren't phased by hair....it's in their job description! lol Also, if you are concerned with DH seeing you all Amazon-y, I'm sure he will be distracted by the BABY coming out! LOL
If you really want to, why don't you ask DH to buzz it with his buzzer (if he uses one to shave like my DH does)? I buzz his chest for him and it really is safe and trims it down short. That's better than nothing! : ) Good luck : )
