Tmi... Todldler boy issue
My 3 yr olds scrotum is all red. Doesn't seem to be in pain, but sensitive when I try to touch it. He does still wear diapers. I noticed earlier he kept pulling at his diaper, but didn't think anything of it. Plus, I knew he was getting a bath shortly so figured I'd wait to change him anyway. Sound familiar to anyone? What can I do? He seems fine, but if it is worse in the morning I'll call the Ped. Thanks

Same thing here on and off.. I just lather him with desitin and it usually goes away in a day or two. As long as it isn't really hot or swollen, it is probably just irritated... Maybe the diaper is tight..

Tmi... Todldler boy issue
Might just be the humidity/hot and the lack of air flow in the diaper. DS is getting more minor rashes the past couple of weeks. I try to let him "go free" a little bit in the morning when I know he is less likely to pee on me!!

Re: Tmi... Todldler boy issue
LOl! Thanks ladies. Yeah, the diaper was beyond full and it's hot out so that could totally be it. I guess trying to get my money's worth isn't comfortable for him. Woops! Put some baby powder in the diaper before bed so hopefully that should help along with some diaper cream. After the bath I did notice isn't was more pink and not as red, but he wasn't happy with me putting anything on it. Once I did he was fine.

DS has this off and on. I think its b/c he sweats so much. I put some desitin or calmoseptine on it and its cleared up the next morning.
but i notice its on really hot days so I let him go bare butt if we are home to air out :0)
