To add to my already HORRID day...
All along i thought Dh and i were going to TTC in Feb when i go off the pill and he dumps on me tonite that that is not at all on his agenda and he really doesnt know when it will be.
Im so pi$$ed and mad and angry and sad and upset.

I went through this with DH but my biological clock wouldn't allow us to postpone things anymore. I pushed off TTC until almost 33 and to be honest we should have started a few years earlier. Now it's not happening as quickly as we would have liked.

Thats the thing. I am 33. We are married over a year and have been together for almost 7yrs.

I know it must be hard to hear that, but think about it, Do you want him to resent being a parent if he's not ready? I wanted to have kids a few years ago and DH did not wanna hear about it. Now he is so excited and ready. You want him to be ready otherwise he might end up resenting you! I hope he changes his mind quick for you!

My only advice is to explain to DH that waiting may decrease your chances of conceiving. Statistically, after 30 fertility declines. Also, explain that the perfect time may never come. Sometimes you just have to go for it! I also think it's normal for men to have reservations about children. They worry about losing independence. Good luck!

Does he say why it's not on his agenda? February is still a long way off - I wouldn't put too much effort into arguing over it now. I would approach him again in a few months.
