To all of those who have met Caden..

...is he really THAT BIG??? Go ahead be honest with me...Yes or No...or like did you know he was big from the pics but he was bigger in person or smaller than you thought from his pics?????

I'll explain why Im asking after I get some feedback...

You can't go by me though - my kid was 22lbs at 6 months.

The bigger the better IMO -- more to grab onto and kiss!

Oh I can't wait to hear this story!!! Obviously, I don't think he's big. But I guess I don't know what a normal sized baby is supposed to look like.

To be honest, I think at 6 months, both of our babies are looking closer to normal. At 3 months, different story.

I think Caden's cheeks make him look bigger than he is.

I agree with Kelly about the cheeks.

Honestly, I do not have enough baby experience to say. I have no idea how big they are supposed to be at any age. They all look huge compared to my Dylan, though, so if I have said that Caden is big, take it with a grain of salt. We had Dylan to the doctor today, and even for his adjusted age he is still considered to be tiny. We are just glad that Dylan is finally on the percentile scale after all we have been through.

If you are asking b/c of what we talked about at the mall, do not even give it a second thought.

Long Story short..My DH's ex wife got a hold of Caden's Doctors Book..you know the one where the doctor records height and weight..and his diaper bag(but that's another issue). She passed it around her family so they could all comment on his size..I know it sounds really bizarre right?

We get the book back b/c my stepdaughter found it or something and gave it to my DH..Well apparently they have continued to talk about Caden and have my stepdaughter convinced that he is abnormally LARGE & in a bad way...(He's 22lbs-6m)

Pathetic isnt it????

I don't think that 22lbs at 6 months is HUGE at all. We'll have to see what DD weighs at her 4 month check up and compare b.c i think she's a little chunky monkey.

Wow....a bunch of adults passing around a child's dr. record & making comments no comment

He was beyond adorable at the mall & just a healthy, happy baby. But then again, Gracelyn is off the charts too in height/weight, so not sure what "normal" is supposed to look like. But he just looks perfect.

Does she work at the doc's office or something? Isn't that a breach of privacy? Get her in trouble!!!!!

Your guy is adorable and I'm sure the DOCTOR knows how healthy he is and isn't concerned in the slightest (you know, the one with the medical degree, not a bunch of witchy family members )

Hmmm.... jealous much about being the ex-wife that she has nothing better to do than pick on her ex-husband's BEAUTIFUL baby boy with his new (improved ) wife?

He's totally normal.... it's better than worrying that he's not gaining enough.

I only met you guys that one time at smithhaven mall, and i didnt think he was abnormally big. I know how you feel about questioning your dc size, people are constantly commenting on how big my dd is, but i dont see what their talking about.


eta: just read your post about DH ex, she is absolutely horrible and a pathetic individual.. Who does that. How do you comment on a baby to other people. All i gotta say is she sounds a bit wacked out.
