She doesn't know what she's talking about! He's a big baby. That's it. He's not abnormally huge. It's not like you're giving him steriods to make him bigger (or are you? )...some babies just grwo bigger. That's what makes us all different. We grow at different rates.

Try not to let it bother you....she's clearly jealous that you have an adorable baby.

Heather it sounds to me like the X is just plain out jealous of the new family. Even if Caden was very tiny or extremely big, the fact that she has the time to read your DC's baby book is pathetic. Can we say loser?

The even funnier part of this whole thing is that Im still not getting the full story out of DH...which usually means the pettiness is worse than what he is telling me.

The book was in DS diaper bag which Im apparently not getting back...I kind of got that it was thrown out but then again I wasnt really told this..DH simply told me to go out and buy a nice new expensive diaper bag...which I took to mean she threw it out and everything in it..I'll never really know.

This look on Caden face says it all!!!

I don't think he is big at all. I think he is one healthy looking liitle boy. I love him. He is a great size. I hear all the time that my DS is big. They think he is 8months and he is only 4 months. It doesn't bother me. I know there is just more of him to love.

OK, seriously passing arond a babies weight book? WTH is wrong with her to begin with.
tell your stepdaughter to tell them that you are feeding him big macs for breakfast, lunch and dinner in hopes that he will be the worlds largest baby.

* I wanted to add...IMO I would give this girl a call. Why not put her on the spot like she did your son. Tell her your stepdaughter came home upset bc they were talking about how big caden is. then ask why his book was out? Then let her explain.

His cheeks are huge which makes him appear big, but having seen him up close face to face out of his stroller, no Heather he isn't that big at all. Those cheeks give him tons and tons of personality.

ETA: Now that I read the thread and saw why you were asking . . . some people obviously have no life (she is the one sleeping between two kids, one of whom wets the bed right?). Don't waste any thought on her and her jealousy. She is soooo not worth your time!

Caden looks adorable in the pictures you post. He does not look huge to me. I can't believe you husbands ex threw out your diaper bag and passed around a his weight book as a joke. That is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. Who does she think she is. What kind of person bring innocent babies into their jealousy? She obviously has a problem. Please do not let her annoying comments get into your head.

Wow, that is pathetic

Steven was 20 lbs at 4 months. At 6 months he was 21.5 lbs and at 15 months now, he's 24.5 lbs. So it really does taper off.
