Please tell me it get easier. DS isn't even in daycare yet and he won't be for another 5 weeks but the thought of being apart from him during the day is killing me. I know that me working is the best thing for us in the long run but I am dreading this. Hugs are needed please :)

It gets better-trust me. When I was home with her on maternity leave I had the same horrible feelings but it gets better with each day.
Part of it is the hormones after giving birth-it makes it even worse!

It gets better. I cried leaving my DC for a week when I went back to work. But as I saw him doing great and adjusted, it then got better for me.
Your DC will probably adjust to the change better than you!
But I am going to not lie. I still get very upset every now and then. It creeps up on me when I look at him getting so big so fast and sometimes i feel like I am missing a lot. But I this is what we have to do. And I am thankful my DC likes being there and seems happy. I have yet to go there and hear a bad report, see him crying or anything that would make me freak out.

It gets much easier! Its sooo hard at first- but the more you become comfortable with your day care, the easier it gets!
