to whom it concerns regaurding reporting threads.
i do not know who is finger happy, but people need to realize NEWS stories, just because they involve and animal, DO NOT belong on the Pet board.
the Pet board is meant for those of us with pets to go and talk about OUR pets, learn about things we never knew, find breeders/shelters, discuss food, share photos... ETC.......
please stop reporting these news stories to the Pet bpard, it clutters the board with things that are not relevant to the board PLUS they deserve to be here, where posted originally so people can discuss & debate it.
just because theres a cat or dog with a story revolving it does not mean you have justification to report it to the Pet board. if one of us decided to post a thread with just pictures of our animals here, then by all means, report that to the Pet board.
sorry, its just very annoying.

Sorry but I disagree with you....
the Pets board "definition" is....
"Dedicated to our furry and not so furry friends!"
Therefore...stories about animals....whatever they be...should be on there. the good, bad and the ugly.

As someone who doesn't have a pet, I don't look at the pet board but I responded to the post on here. I definitely think it will get more views on here.

ITA too... besides, someone already posted about that story on the Pet Board. Guess we better report the story about parents neglecting their children b/c they're too busy playing games so it appears on the Parenting Board.

The truth is that even if someone reports it, the moderators are the ones who move it. So if they didn't agree with the reported post, they wouldn't move it. Maybe just post a link to the article on NFR.

ITA that the moderators are being unfair, because there's constantly news stories about babies and children posted here and they don't get moved to “parenting”. Especially a news story like the one about Maximus where they need donations to SAVE his life, this board gets more traffic.

I think that fact that we separate so many topics make the boards slow and boring sometimes.
