today could have been SO different
I can't believe my due date has come. I've dreaded this day for so long. Yet, strangely...I think I'm ok. Don't get me wrong...I'm really sad...and I find myself thinking..."I'm sitting here in my basement doing NOTHING right now...when I could have been in labor in a hospital...or even given birth already and be nurtuting a child, MY child. It gets sad...but in a way I guess I'm relieved that this day has come and I have no choice but to just FACE
IT. at this point I suppose I have 2 choices.
1. I could let this drag me down and put so much stress on myself that I find TTcing hard and almost impossible...
or
2. I can see this as an opportunity to get over the fact that this happened and YES my due date arrived and YES I have no baby...but I still have an OPPORTUNITY to move forward and try without the pressure of "trying to get pregnant before my due date" because I thought I just couldn't mentally handle not being at least close to being a mommy by the date I originally should have had my baby.
getting pregnant before my due date is no longer an option and strangely enough...I am relieved at this.
just thought I'd get that off my chest.

I'm really sorry. You seem to have a very positve attitude which is great. I think we had m/c around the same time from what I remember from the ttc after m/c board. Lots of luck to you!!!!

I know how hard it is when you reach the DD. You will get through this, and eventually you will have wonderful news to share.

Just want to say I know exactly how you feel. my due date was December 8th and I am dreading it. Its also a week before my 30th birthday. I am almost excited for it to be over because then SOME of the pressure might not be there. It stinks.
