For all those who were lost.
And especially - for a girl I went to HS with who lost her father - FDNY. I was a senior in HS on 9/11 and I will never forget her being called down to the office -- and then hearing, later, why.
My parents neighbors -- across the street. They are two of the nicest people (Fran & Frankie). They have been so supportive and helpful to my parents since Kenneth got hurt -- Frankie lost his brother (Cantor Fitzgerald) on 9/11.
One of my college professors -- he knew a family, the parents lost BOTH their sons -- their only sons, their only children on 9/11. One was a firefighter, one was a police officer. The Viggiano boys - John & Joseph.

Wow - A few people on here knew them
I did not personally know them but I will *NEVER* forget my professor - who did know them well - telling our class (me in it) their story -- I remember everything he said and it truly, deeply affected me. I felt so much for their parents -- and it was just awful. It was my communications class - never forget it. Since then, I always make sure to listen when their names are called.

I knew Jimmy-he interned at my firm a few years before. I remember seeing his poster hanging up after. I always think of him and what a young kid he was.
I also think of John Farrell-DH and I are friends with his younger brother, we went to his services. Sad day.

I am blanking on the name. I was in college when 9/11 occurred and one of my friends lost her uncle. He was the pilot of one of the AA flights leaving Boston that day.
I am afraid to start listing my personal list because I am so afraid to leave off a name.  I lost too many loved ones that day -- we all did.
