Today is my fist doc app.... update
What should I expect... I am a little scared.
update
everything went well last night. they took lots of blood and they also did a internal sonogram and we got to see the baby. it was great. she told me my due date is February 26th or 27th. i am hoping i go before because next year is leap year and I don't want to have my baby on the 29th it only come once every 4 years...

Depends on how far along you are.
My first doc appointment included a urine sample so they could do a pregnancy test and test other things in the urine, consultation with the doctor, check the heartbeat (the best part!).
Nothing scary about it! You will be fine and hopefully it will get you more excited!
Make sure to bring a list of questions that you have!

My first doc's appt they did a sono which is very exciting then they talk to you..

At my first doctor's appt. they gave me a urine test, took lots of blood and the doctor gave me an internal exam. No sonogram though. And then he told me about all the foods I can't eat.

I had a whole list of questions because this is my first pregnancy.
I asked about what foods I was supposed to stay away from.
I asked about prenatal vitamins, what can I take for a cold, can I get my hair colored.
I was concerned because I was drinking around the time we conceived.. it was around the holidays, so I wanted to make sure everything was OK.
Feel comfortable enough to ask them anything that is a question to you. Just know that they have probably heard it all!!!

Mine is tomorrow - we're right at the same time (I'm 7w5d today).
I have friends who go to the same practice I do and I know they do a sono where you see the heartbeat and a blood test and go over the 'process' of checkups, tests, etc.
I started a list of questions the other day so I don't forget but most are directly related to me and other medical stuff. Just think about what you want to know and don't worry if you forget to ask something, you can call - that's what they're there for.
