Toddler birthday party at Nunley's Carousel?
Has anyone had or been to one? DD will be 2 in June and I'm thinking of having her party out somewhere rather than at home. I just don't like how all of the party places these days seem so rushed and chaotic. I want to enjoy it with my daughter. I checked out Nunley's carousel today and I heard that they do parties there. Just not sure how entertaining two hours of carousel riding could be. Any thoughts or experiences ?
TIA

Re: Toddler birthday party at Nunley's Carousel?
We had DD's 3rd birthday party there and it was great. The kids loved riding the carousel over and over, plus they do a craft with them to break it up a little. One of my favorite birthday parties we've had for our kids!

Toddler birthday party at Nunley's Carousel?
A great party! Just call because the dates book up fast, also check on the craft that they are doing. They have a great craft that the kids make a horse out of cut pieces of the floaty things that you use in the pool. They were awesome, and Beth is second to none.

Toddler birthday party at Nunley's Carousel?
How much is it? I was thinking of doing this for DD's birthday, but I haven't started researching yet.

Re: Toddler birthday party at Nunley's Carousel?
We had DD"s 1st bday there,, kids were aged between 1 and 7... the place is really cute but our group of kids seemed to enjoy the craft more than the carousel. The adults loved it though! I think the girls working the day of our party were inexperienced or something because they def lacked alot of enthusiasm so the kids didnt really seem very into it and they also didnt end up running the carousel very often. Unfortunate for us, because I have heard such great things about the staff from others. They were very nice though and accomodating.
I believe it is $350 for the 1.5 hour non themed party for up to 25 kids and 25 adults. It is $400 for the 2 hour themed party.
We booked the 1.5 hour party because the theme seemed much for a 1 year old.. but we ended up having the place privately for about 2 hours anyway..

Does that price include in any food?

Toddler birthday party at Nunley's Carousel?
Yes price includes pizza or bagels for the 25. Then you can add. So I did the pizza then I ordered extra bagels and coffee for the adults. Includes juice for the kids
The kids rode the carousel all day and did the craft. My daughter didn't get off the carousel once. Lol.
The staff was awesome. And we did the private party- 2 hours.

Yes 5 pizzas and drinks. They told us that the kids eat 2-3 typically (cut into 16 slices) then you can use the rest for the adults. I got one extra pizza but about 1/2 was left over at the end. You might need more if you have eaters. Our group never eats much. It is a very good deal bc for $400 you get 25 kids many are $300-400 for 13 kids. You provide cake and special plates and table clothes IF you want to otherwise they provide plain ones.
